Thanks. I couldn't have done it without you! You really got some skills for someone your age, pal. So that's one part of the problem down...

[Then, he... tries to pump himself up to go on! But he is a bit drained.]

It's fine. It should help restore some of your energy.

[Gripping his hand, she too felt a boost to her dropping energy levels. Huh, she should probably locate a gym after this incident subsided; get back to some routine exercises.]

Great. [He smiles as he feels his fatigue start to fade away.]

It's really workin', pal! I'm starting to feel all pumped up!

We'll give it a few more seconds before moving on.

Sounds good, pal. Like getting the last drips of fuel from a gas tank! [He says with an assuring smile.]

... Sure, we can put it that way. [Though, she thought you're not supposed to do that...]

[He chuckles obliviously.]

So while we're charging up... Can you tell me about your not-so-little friend now?

[pishirogane]

Hm... I thought you might forget about that.

[But her didn't... she'll have to keep that in mind.]

You could say that was me - another part of myself anyway - that I can call upon for certain combative purposes.

Whoa! That's unbelievable! You have another part of yourself that's twice your size and fights for you?? I know spirit mediums exist, but this sound like a whole nother ball game!

Hm, I suppose seeing something like that would stick out in your mind.

Yamato-Sumeragi isn't that tall... well, comparatively to some of the others. Anyway, I don't exactly recommend learning how to do this. Only in special circumstances can trouble be circumvented... though, what's this about spirit mediums?

[Well, he seemed larger than life to Gumshoe. He'll accept not learning how to do this. He already has himself set on learning magic from Taako eventually.]

Oh... y'know, spirit mediums. Where I come from, they're the real deal. They channel the spirits of the dead! Is it like that in your home, too?

Hmm... I see. Unfortunately, while such practices might be real, meeting or interacting with an actual spirit medium where I'm from is not.

[trenchdoting]

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that, pal. Well if any of the ones I know show up here, I'll make sure you meet the real deal!

Sure. I look forward to that meeting.

That aside, are you ready to proceed?

[trenchdoting]

[He responds with a firm nod.]

That's right, pal! I'm ready to roll! Lemme at 'em!

[Taking her hand back, she nods.]

This way then... [She turns and will again take the lead. Hopefully, this mess is resolved soon.]
