As the Persona disappeared behind him and the masked reformed, Joker jumped away from the claws. The swipes at him were pathetically easy to dodge as he spun around him laughing, purposefully trying to enrage it, attempting to kick him behind the shins. The sleeping head almost made the situation comical, as it swung back and forth, slamming into one of the others and causing it to be distracted.
Briefly he looked back at Naoto, as if to silently approve of whatever she might have been planning on doing.
Staring back at him, she wasn't going to do that yet. Maybe he already knew since he could summon, but she wasn't sure about summoning right now. Kicking the cerberus beast behind the shins didn't really do anything, but it did make the monster keep track of him.
Well, she might as well get him another opening. If she knew one thing that might get the guy's attention, she darted around and grabbed its tail, giving it a hard pull.
The creature yelped in surprise before attempting to attack her. Joker had to admit he was starting to like Naoto's way of fighting; honestly that was the last thing he had expected her to do. He laughs to distract the monster from his side, before using the hilt of his dagger to smash it into one of the other heads, knocking it unconscious before it could do anything.
That left them with one last head to take care of, which was quickly starting to panic, now that it was 'alone', stuck between someone holding its tail and a costumed man able to move too fast for him to keep up.
"You will fall. It's only a matter of time."
Getting under your enemy's skin was a good way of causing confusion without having to use a Persona.
Dodging as best she could from the kicking, even hit, she doesn't feel so much from it. She continues to hold the tail, but she decides to do something to help out further. Two heads were unconscious, but the third could drop fast.
One hand hold, teeth grabbing her bracelet, she pulls it off her wrist.
Just the temporary removal allows her ears and antlers to raise, the bio-luminescent spots to light up, racing up to the very tips and glowing bright. Coming with it though, sparks at her fingertips; lightning dancing up her arms which she'll send shooting through the Cerberus.
It's a bold move to pull off and honestly Joker is impressed at both her resourcefulness and the risk she's taking. The lightning causes an electrical shock to the creature much like that of a taser, and as he yelps in surprise, Ren takes the opportunity to deliver a right hook into the creature's face. The small sparks of lightening between his fist from the face doesn't seem to affect him at all.
With this much onslaught, the creatures is finally sent crashing down to the ground.
"Great job." He looks back at Naoto, hoping that the lack of bracelet won't cause any additional issues to the both of them. "How are you feeling?" His voice has changed from aggressive and controlled to a softer caring one.
Good, the beast was down. While aware of her lightning not affecting, she had another issue slowly begin to creep up since the release of her bracelet. It starts there, a kindle to flame, that begins growing, spreading, and steadily igniting everywhere. However, the bracelet back on douses it, but only in delay.
"F-Fine... mostly." She exhaled, long ears drooping back. "... I need to go soon."
"...I understand." As the Moonknights came for the down creature and knowing that he'd be taken care of, Joker looked back at her, wondering if she'd even be able to make it. A split decision raced into his mind.
"Forgive me." With her smaller size, it is easy for him to grab her between his arms and to jump away from the scene of the battle, away into rooftops and closer to where she lived. "It will be faster to get you home this way that if you walked by yourself."
This wasn't what she meant by going! And she was going to ignore that involuntary shudder at being carried like this too. Why did this three full moon's nonsense have to happen now? And why was this guy still looking familiar?
"I need to find a Sanguis. He's probably engaged with a Cerberus right now, and he needs to be stopped."
The reaction nearly causes him to slip from the next rooftop as he scratches to a half with his pointed shoes. Normally this would be the perfect time to say a witty comeback or two, but considering what they just had done, he takes it a lot more seriously than usual.
"Who is he? Tell me his name, I'll find him."
Hopefully he actually knows who it is.

Even if he had slipped, she probably wouldn't feel much of the impact from falling. Some blessings were beneficial, but others like the one making her almost double over were not.
"Kanji... or Tatsumi. Just be careful; he might be fully turned tonight."
Reaching into her pocket, did she have anything that he could take?
"I know Tatsumi," he replies with a small nod. "During the vine incident, we ran into each other. Hold on tight!"
Adjusting his grip on her so he could do it with one hand, he turns around and began to go back into the battlefields, dodging attacks from others fighting the different creatures. All the while, he has a hand over his right eye as if he's using it to see something.
"He must he around here somewhere..." Eventually the Arcana card appears close by, like a beacon of light he so desperately needed for the both of them. "I think I've found him."
Though she nods, she expects him to set her down so she can locate Kanji on her own or do by himself. However, he just grabs her again and takes off back into the fray. Long ears high and luminescent lights dancing, this isn't good...
He found him? Eyebrow rising, she decides not to immediately ask. "Slowly approach him..."
He remembers a little of what had happened with Kanji during the vines. Something about being able to smell others? He doesn't want to leave Naoto like this, but he has a feeling that very soon Kanji will be coming their way anyway wither they want him to or not. Approaching him carefully might just leave him clues of who he is, and that's not a secret Ren's ready to share just yet.
"I'll take you down and whistle for his attention. Perhaps it might be better for me to leave after that...if you think that's a good idea."
Despite his own setbacks, he wasn't going to leave her helpless either. He'd be a terrible person if he did.
Sure enough, she could see him. Right now, there's very little about Kanji still human, his hunched form doubled in average size and long, triangular ears jutting from his head. It's the eyes that held the most warning though, fiery and wild, looking for a fight if gnashed fangs and curled claws didn't already caution that.
Naoto stares, and sighs, nodding. "Like this, I suggest you run once I have his attention. I'll keep him here."
He doesn't ask how she can do that...that's not for him to really ponder. Despite the fact she's a detective, he trusts her words, before bringing a hand towards his mouth to let out a whistle that could be easily heard from Kanji's earshot.
"See you later."
With a nod at her, he'll jump away and off on a rooftop, waiting to make sure that Kanji was going towards her before leaving entirely.
Kanji definitely heard that whistle and he doesn't hesitate to bellow and charge in their direction.
"See you..."
That leaves her to the wolf - literally - but she's not worried about it. Those yellow eyes weren't focused on her; Kanji likely wouldn't have stopped chasing after the masked individual either if she didn't raise her hand to catch his attention.
